The Bark Park

 

Corsicana's first Dog Park!

This is a community effort! Without your help The Bark Park will not be possible. Please look at the Memorial Plaques and the Bark Park Wishlist to find out ways you can help us build The Bark Park!

The Bark Park Rules

The Bark Park is for dogs and their owners. 

Enter the Bark Park at your own risk.  You are responsible for any injury, damage or loss to yourself or your dog. 

Dogs and children must be supervised at all times. 

Dogs left unattended will be considered “running at large” and removed by animal control. 

All dogs must be current on vaccinations, including rabies, and city of Corsicana registration.

NOT ALLOWED:

  1. “In heat” females & unaltered males

  2. Puppies under 6 months of age

  3. People food, dog food, treats

  4. Smoking, alcoholic beverages or glass containers

  5. Wading type pools of any size

  6. Any animals other than dogs

  7. Digging near fence line

Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting Bark Park. 

Dogs must be socialized and non-aggressive.  Dogs must be within voice command of the owner at all times.  OFF LEASH DOES NOT MEAN OUT OF CONTROL.  If your dog becomes aggressive toward another dog or human, you must leave the park. 

Please clean up after your dog to keep the park clean and disease free.  Supplies and waste containers are located throughout the Bark Park. 

Dogs, owners or anyone creating a disturbance or violating the rules must leave the park. 

Thank you for visiting the Bark Park.  This park belongs to all of us, please do your part to take care of it.   

The Bark Park was built by the Humane Society of Navarro County in cooperation with the City of Corsicana Parks and Recreation Department and through donations from people like YOU!
