The HSNC shares your concerns about unplanned or unwanted litters, homeless animals and overpopulation. 

Note: We are not a shelter. We do not have a facility to adopt out pets or take surrenders.
Any adoptable pets featured on this site are available for adoption at the Corsicana Animal Shelter.

Our mission is our low cost Spay/Neuter Program for residents of Navarro County.

NOTICE

"To help combat the spread of COVID-19, effective immediately and until further notice,

the HSNC office will be closed for all walk-in assistance.

We are still available to help you and your animals in any way possible - just in a difference way!!!

 

For SPAY/NEUTER applications and/or questions, please call our office during the hours of Monday-Wednesday-Friday 11am-1pm.  Spay/Neuter applications can be completed and submitted on line at or you can pick them up in the black mailbox outside of our office.  To make your copay, please call Erin during normal business hours.  We accept MC, VISA or personal check and a receipt can be sent to you.

 

To report LOST or FOUND animals, please contact:  City of Corsicana Animal Shelter Telephone: 903-654-4928  (The HSNC does NOT have a facility to house animals.)

 

 

COUNTY RESIDENTS should call:  Navarro County Sheriff’s Telephone: 903-654-3002to report ABANDONED or ABUSED domestic and/or farm animals.

 

FOOD FRIDAY will still take place.  Food Friday is on the first Friday of each month between the hours of 11:00a.m. - 1:00p.m., based on First Come/First
Served.  This service will still be available, but 

1)  You MUST stay in your car and we will come to you and

2)  You MUST wear a mask.  If you do not wear a mask, we will not be able to assist you.

Our Mission

To reduce the overpopulation and abandonment of animals within Navarro County through spay and neuter services; 

To educate citizens on the benefits of spay / neuter and promote animal welfare; 

To maintain a good relationship with the City of Corsicana Animal Shelter in placing as many animals as possible into good, appropriate and permanent homes; 

To work with the City and County officials, local businesses and concerned citizens in raising awareness.
